Privacy Policy
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to all apps published by Bisen Apps under the Google Play and Apple
App Store developer accounts. Currently that means one app: Flip Clock
(com.bisenapps.clock). This page is updated whenever the policy changes.
The version date appears at the top of this page.
2. What we collect
An honest enumeration of every piece of data the app sends off your device:
- Crash diagnostics (Sentry). When the app crashes or throws an unhandled error, Sentry receives: device model, OS version, app version, an anonymized installation ID, the stack trace, and the most recent in-app navigation events (breadcrumbs). Sentry does not receive your name, email, location, the contents of your screen, or any text you've entered.
- Update checks (Expo). The app periodically asks Expo's CDN whether a new bundle is available. This sends your IP address and a generic User-Agent string. We do not receive these requests directly; they hit Expo's infrastructure. Expo's privacy policy applies — see expo.dev/privacy.
- Local-only data. Your settings (theme choice, brightness, keep-awake preference) are stored in your device's local storage. They never leave your device.
3. What we do NOT collect (today)
The following are explicitly not collected:
- analytics events of any kind
- advertising IDs (no advertising SDK is integrated yet)
- location (precise or coarse)
- contacts, photos, microphone, camera, calendar
- account information (the app has no accounts)
- payment information (no in-app purchases are wired up yet)
- any cross-app identifier
4. What may change in the future
When we add advertising (AdMob), subscriptions (RevenueCat), or product analytics (PostHog) in a future release, this policy will be updated in the same release that lights them up. We will not silently begin collecting new data. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects every change.
5. Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
6. Your rights (India / DPDP Act 2023)
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to request deletion of any crash reports linked to your device. To do so, email privacy@bisen.app with your device model, app version, and the approximate date you experienced the crash. We process such requests within 30 days. (A future app update will surface a precise installation ID in Settings → About to make this easier.)

9. Changes
We bump the "Last updated" date and post a brief note at the top of this page when the policy changes. We don't send email notifications because we don't have your email.
